DVM – Founder
Dr. Brian Dickinson
Dr. Brian Dickinson has been a trusted veterinarian in the Ooltewah-Collegedale community for many years. His veterinary journey began humbly as a kennel assistant in the late ’80s, where his passion for animals quickly blossomed into a lifelong commitment. After earning his undergraduate degree from Southern Adventist University and his DVM from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2001, Dr. Dickinson returned to his hometown to practice what he loves most: caring for animals. In December 2005, he founded AMP, where his compassionate and knowledgeable care continues to make an impact.
Dr. Dickinson’s special interests include practice management, customer service, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and surgery. A certified Fear Free Professional, he ensures a comfortable, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dickinson enjoys spending time with his family and indulging his creative side by playing the French horn and making Mead.

When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Fields enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Seth and their two daughters. Their family also includes four furry companions: Django, a spirited Lab mix, Oscar, an energetic Aussiedoodle, and two playful cats, Pepper and Marble.

DVM
Dr. Caleb Preston
Dr. Caleb Preston has called the Chattanooga area home for much of his life, and he’s been caring for its animal residents with dedication since earning his DVM from the University of Georgia in 2014. Before embarking on his veterinary career, Dr. Preston proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic and then as a Veterinarian. This experience shaped his strong work ethic and love for community service.
Dr. Preston’s home is a bit of a “mini zoo,” where he enjoys the company of his many pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and even a prairie dog! His deep affection for animals shines through both in his personal life and his professional care.
