DVM – Founder
Dr. Brian Dickinson
Dr. Brian Dickinson has been a trusted veterinarian in the Ooltewah-Collegedale community for many years. His veterinary journey began humbly as a kennel assistant in the late '80s, where his passion for animals quickly blossomed into a lifelong commitment. After earning his undergraduate degree from Southern Adventist University and his DVM from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2001, Dr. Dickinson returned to his hometown to practice what he loves most: caring for animals. In December 2005, he founded AMP, where his compassionate and knowledgeable care continues to make an impact.
Dr. Dickinson’s special interests include practice management, customer service, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and surgery. A certified Fear Free Professional, he ensures a comfortable, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dickinson enjoys spending time with his family and indulging his creative side by playing the French horn and making Mead.
